But I love my friends that I do have. I came to drew in 4th grade. I did make friends most of my friend group in 4th grade were also pretty much new students. Most of those friends left to go to private schools or elsewhere. They friend group that I have a great it’s just funny because it’s not like the friend group that I’m in currently we were not friends before we just weren’t as close as we are now. We’ve been friends for almost 7 years now. Most of my teachers are nice and helpful. What I would like to see change is less but bigger projects like ones that truely connect with all our classes instead of like 6 projects at one time. That is stressful for me…... Honestly the worst part was really just getting through COVID and virtual. One major thing about KIPP is that they care so much about getting their scholars into college or any path they choose after high school. The connections with the KIPP Forward team is so helpful and KIPP really does embody the tru meaning of “To and through college”. Even though I wish that the school was bigger and of better quality such as better restrooms. Between the teachers and staff at that school, they really care about their students and they just want the best for us. One more thing, me personally, just 2.5 weeks until graduation, I was failing a class. For that first week, i was stressed out crying trying to figure out whether I was going to graduate or not. I went my whole high school career just to get to the end like this. My counselor however stayed with my the whole way and made sure I had everything I needed....
